Our all-steel or hybrid (combining a robust, reusable steel frame and expendable wood supports) crates significantly reduce moisture retention, waste and warranty claims. The crate is safely and easily assembled and disassembled reducing line labor cost and workman’s comp claims. They also fold down to a neat interlocked stack in a 7:1 ratio, minimizing storage and labor costs at your locations.
IFCO Regional Distribution Centers
Our fleet of more than 4,500 trucks retrieves crates from your stores and/or distribution centers throughout North America. The crates are then delivered to one of our 150+ distribution centers coast to coast. Here they're sorted, stacked and stored until a full load is accumulated. Each pool is then returned to your designated IFCO warehouse in the most expedient, efficient and cost effective way.
IFCO Local Warehouses
Upon arrival at the IFCO warehouse, each crate is sorted and inspected for damage. If a crate is damaged beyond repair, IFCO can either manufacture OR order replacement crates as needed (our design or yours). The fresh stock of cleaned and stacked crates is then ready to be delivered back to your vendor’s manufacturing line according to your production schedules.
